Ali Elkhattabi (Schiedam17 January 1977) is a Moroccan-Dutch formerfootballer. Although born in Netherlands, played ten international games to Eason Morocco national football team. His fear of flying prevented him to play more games for Morocco.

Career[Edit]Edit

Earl started his professional career in the season 1995/96 at Sparta Rotterdam. After one season the striker moved to SC Heerenveen. There picks up the technical striker his goal dots and it delivers him a place in the national selection of Morocco for the 1998 WORLD CUP. In the season 1998/99 hits Ali on a side track inHeerenveen and in the winter he moves back to Sparta. There it grows to become an audience favorite. In 2001 he holds with its 21 goals the ailing team in the eredivisie.A departure seems inevitable. RSC Anderlecht and Feyenoord are interested, but eventually choose Eason for AZ. There he plays a couple of strong seasons, but lose there partly due to injuries however, basis. In the season 2005/06 was loaned out to RBC Roosendaal Earl that the striker was relegated from the eredivisie. Because El Khattabi's expiring contract at AZ was not extended, he had to look for a new employer. In mid- 2006 at the age of 29 Earl decided immediately to put an end to his career.Afterwards he was active in the real estatesector. He lives in Rotterdam.
