Cornelis Antonius Willem (Cor) Hermus (Amsterdam, 2 July 1889 – d. Dresden, 24 may 1953) was a Dutch stage actor, theatre director and writer of plays and listen play. He was the father of the also famous actor Guus Hermus.
Cor Hermus began his career as an actor with the company of Hagen. Later he worked for many different companies, where he further developed his versatility, not only as an actor but also as a teacher. In 1945 he founded the Comedia theatre company, where he let a lot of modern stage play, and remained there the artistic director until 1953. Around 1947 took out Hermus the famous Russian theatre director Peter Scharoff to Netherlands.
