Santon played from 2008 to Internazionale , he comes from their own youth. He is an attacking minded right-back who is also deployed on the left. On January 21 , 2009 he made his debut in the first team in the Coppa Italia against Roma , Santon should play. Inter won the match 2-1. Four days later, on January 25 he made his debut in Serie A . Santon is seen as a great talent for the future.

On January 31, 2011, the last day of the transfer window, Santon was loaned to Cesena , involved in the agreement whereby Yuto Nagatomo at Internazionale would come. [1]
