Eddie Bo , owner. Edwin Joseph Bocage , ( New Orleans , September 20th 1930 - there, March 18 2009 ) was an American jazz musician from the R & B scene of New Orleans .

Bo came from a musical family and studied piano in his hometown. In the 1950s, he was supervisor of Big Joe Turner , Earl King , Guitar Slim , Johnny Adams , Lloyd Price , Ruth Brown , Smiley Lewis and The Platters on tours. At the end of the 1960s and in the 1970s Eddie Bo was active as a singer , songwriter , producer and pianist . He came up with plates and Check Mr. Popeye(1961), Hook and Sling (1969) and Check Your Bucket (1970) on the charts. Some of his songs were by musicians like Little Richard ( Slippin 'and Slidin' ), Etta James (My Dearest Darling) andTommy Ridgley (In the Same Old Way) acquired. As a producer and arranger, he worked for Al "Carnival Time" Johnson, Art Neville , Chris Kenner , Chuck Carbo, Irma Thomas , Johnny Adams, Mary Jane Hooper, Robert Parker , The Vibrettes and The Explosions .

He took pictures with the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and toured with Willy DeVille , whose albums Victory Mixture and Big Easy Fantasy , he is heard. With Raful Neal and Rockin 'Tabby Thomas he had since the 1990s are projects for The Louisiana Legends , The District Court and The Hoodoo Kings . He died in March 2009 of a heart attack.
