Euzebiusz 'Ebi' Smolarek ( Łódź , January 9 , 1981 ) is a Polish footballer who plays preferably in the attack. He signed in September 2012 half year contract with Jagiellonia Białystok[1] . In 2002 he debuted in the Polish national football team , where he played more than forty international matches.

Smolarek is the son of Wlodi Smolarek . His brother Mariusz is active in the Dutch courts, but in amateur club VV Rijsoord .

Smolarek grew up in the Netherlands. He walked through the youth of Feyenoord , where he debuted in 2000 in the first team. Smolarek early 2005 moved to Borussia Dortmund . During the 2007-2008 season he was under contract with the Spanish Racing Santander , which he leased in the 2008-2009 season to Bolton Wanderers FC .
