Hendrik Willem Salam (Deventer16 February 1889 – Zeist26 August 1973) was a Dutch neurologist from Utrecht.

Salam conducted between 1901 and 1921 pioneering work in the field of Neuroradiology with particularly recording techniques. He has developed a special technique with radiographs to make recordings of the so-called bridge corner area, a region in the skull behind the ear, to detect a particular tumor. This picture is then also the recording according to Salam, and was in general use until the CT scan this research took over.He gained his PhD in Utrecht.
