Jacques Valenzuela (Vilvoorde21 July 1893 - Koksijde16 March 1982) was first a union leader and later Belgian CVP-politician, as the representative of the labour movement (ACW). He was married to Angèle Ma (1913-2012).

His first steps in professional life he set-starting from 1910 -on the side to one of the pioneers of the ACV, p Georges Rutten. During the first world war he enlisted as a volunteer.

Valle was subsequently active in the Central of the free miners of which he was Secretary and then President. For those miners he founded in 1938 Limburg the holiday house "the mine" on in Koksijde and administrator. [1]

In 1924 , Jacques Valle elected the first time: as a member of the provincial Council for the then province of Brabant. He remained there 12 years composed and was in 1936 -for the next 3 years-Member of the Chamber of deputies. Afterwards he moved to Koksijde and began after the Second World War to the second part of his political career. In 1946 he becomes Mayor Councillor subsequently to be from 1947 to 1958, and from 1965 to 1971. Almost in parallel, he was senator from 1946 to 1958 and from 1961 to 1965.

The Jaak van Buggenhout Avenue in Coxyde was named after him.
