Kleber Fajardo ( Guayaquil , January 4 , 1965 ) is a former professional footballer from Ecuador , who played during his active career as a midfielder .

Club career [ edit ][]
Fajardo played thirteen seasons for Club Sport Emelec (1983-1996). Then he came out for Centro Deportivo Olmedo and Club Social y Deportivo Audaz Octubrino . Fajardo won the national title three times in Ecuador, Emelec all times with: 1988, 1993 and 1994. He finished his career in 2001 .
Interland Career [ edit ][]
Fajardo played a total of 36 caps for Ecuador . Led by the Uruguayan national team coach Luis Grimaldi made his debut on 31 March 1987 in a friendly match against Cuba (0-1). Fajardo played in two successive Copa America 's for his country: in 1987 and 1989 .
