Matthew Broderick (New York, 21 March 1962) is an American actor. He won the Hollywood Film Festival in 2005 in the category best supporting actor of the year. For his role in Ferris Bueller's Day Off , he was nominated for a Golden Globe.
Broderick is the son of James Broderick, who himself was active as an actor in films and television series from 1950 to 1982. In 1997, he married actress Sarah Jessica Parker. In 2002 she gave birth to their first child, son James Wilke Broderick. On June 22, 2009 gave birth to a surrogate mother of their twin girls, Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge.
