At the age of six he pulled his first soccer shoes at TJ Sokol Kněžpole. At the age of 17, he played with hardly the then FC Synot Intertoto Cup against Stade Rennais and Universitatea Craiova. There he was noticed and he joined PSV international.
By contractual problems (a non-EU player must according to the Dutch regulations earn at least € 400,000) mid-season he went on trial with Lommel. He signed a contract for four and a half years. A year later, Lommel declared bankruptcy and all players were released.
Valenta was looking for, but didn't find a new employer. He maintained his fitness at the Dutch amateur Association HSC ' 21, until he signed a contract. Valenta Bailey soon from Cercle Brugge in the amateur class and signed him in the summer of 2005. In between he played a friendly match in August 2005 with Harkemase Boys out against Joure.
He would and had to be the successor of playmaker Harald Meyssen, but could that year no basis. In the preparation of the 2006/07 season suddenly in almost all matches played Valenta. The Czech was allowed to start the first game, but not convinced, however, and was replaced after the break. He did not come more into action as the basis for Cercle Brugge player. On 3 January 2007 makes the directors of Cercle Bruggeended the collaboration with Vít Valenta. Cercle considers that the breach of contract committed player.
Afterwards trained Valenta months at FC Volendam. The wait was there on a work permit from the Hague without this was the minimum salary of Valenta too high for the club. He signed the necessary permit and Valenta finally got for one year at the Locals.
